Obituary of Scott Revington

Scott Revington

February 16, 1961-July 14, 2024

It is with great sadness that the Revington Family announces the passing of Andrew Scott Revington, 63 years, at LHSC University Hospital in London, Ontario.  Scott was the loving husband of Sherry (Powers) and beloved father to Chase and Mason.  He was the much loved son of Dorothy Revington (Hardy), brother to Steve (Kay) and Anne Vidal (Revington)(Jun).  Scott is survived by his nephews Anthony, Nick, Ray, Mitchell, Cole and Lee.  Predeceased by his loving father, LeRoy.  Scott leaves much loved in-laws Lynne Prosser, Janice and Kevin McGuffin and predeceased brother-in-law Darin Powers.

Scott grew up in Lucan and was an active member in many community activities such as skating teams, hockey, clubs, church serving, swim teams and water polo.  Scott graduated from Medway High School and earned his degree in Forestation from Sir Sanford Fleming in Lindsay, Ontario.

He loved his wilderness experiences as a Junior Ranger and his time in Sault Ste. Marie working for Weyerhaeuser.

Scott started Artistic Shadows in which he proved to be an accomplished landscaper and designer.  He beautifully enhanced numerous properties with his integrated designs and was recognized with multiple Ontario Landscape Awards.  Scott was a lifetime lover of everything natural and this was reflected in each of his landscaping creations.

Scott especially loved playing his guitars, songwriting and recording original music.  He and his brother Steve created Twice Shy, a recording act that won several local song contests and achieved CBC recognition for their song, "Take Me Dancing".  Other bands Scott was significantly involved in were Phoenix, The Bushdoctors and Picasso Sun.

Scott successfully trained standardbred horses for his father's racing stable, he loved canoeing, archery, hockey, skiing, swimming and snowmobiling.

First and foremost, Scott loved his family and he cherished spending time with them.  He exuded positivity, was funny and always shared an enlightening anecdote in both good times and challenging times.

The family would like to extend their sincerest appreciation for the professional care Scott received in ICU at University Hospital.
