Surrounded by family at L.H.S.C. Victoria Hospital on Sunday, July 14, 2024 Natale Anello at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Maria Catulli and the late Elisabetta Bretti-Anello (2000). Loving father of Domenico Anello, Graziella and her husband Stefano Marino, and Francesco Anello and his wife Breehan. Fondly remembered by Maria's children, Valerio (Charlene) Catulli, Connie (Ron) DeMelo. Dear son of the late Domenico and Carmela Anello. Dear Nonno of Nicholas and Alex Anello, Elisabetta and Arianna Marino, Salina, Ricky, Matteo Catulli and Christian and Jacob DeMelo. Dear brother of Giovanna (late Tommaso) Michienzi, late Francesco (Caterina) Anello, late Vincenzo (Angela) Anello, Tommaso (Carmela) Anello, late Giuseppe (Lisa) Anello, and Giovanni (Teresa) Anello. Natale is survived by his aunt Caterina (late Pino) Michienzi, cousins in London and Niagara.  Natale will be fondly remembered by his sisters in law, brothers in law and their families in Italy.   The family would like to thank the palliative care unit and Dr. Fernandez for the care Natale received.  Natale was born in Filadelfia, Calabria and immigrated to Canada in 1968 wtih his wife Elisabetta, raised 3 children, worked as a caretaker at the University of Western Ontario for 34 years.  He was known for his infectious smile, friendly demeanor and one liners.  

Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Wednesday, July 17 from 3-8  o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Thursday morning, July 18 at 10 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery.
