Obituary of Mary Ielapi

Mary Marghella Ielapi

March 20, 1973 – June 23, 2024

Peacefully passed away surrounded by her family.  Beloved daughter to Arturo and Antonia Marghella.  Mary was a dedicated mother, she treasured her children Rachel and Matthew and embraced every moment with them.  Mary’s children were the center of her world and lights of her life.  Mary always put her kids first and supporting them in any way possible.  Rachel and Matthew were her pride and joy and her greatest accomplishments.  Her presence in their lives will continue to be felt in the memories they shared and in the unbreakable bond they will hold forever.  Mary’s big smile and close bond will always be adored and cherished by her siblings Christina Peck (Steve), Gino Marghella (Daniela) and Melissa Strano (Mike).  Zia Mary will forever be missed by her nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend profound gratitude to Matthew Van der Laan who stood by Mary’s side with unwavering love and support, especially throughout her journey.  Thank you Nadia Ianni Zeversenuke for her support and spiritual guidance that provided solace and strength to Mary and our family.  Deepest appreciation to the dedicated medical professionals who provided care to Mary.  Your commitment to her well being, your expertise, and your kindness and comfort to Mary and our family during this challenging time.
