Frank's niece, Laura and her husband Joe would like to send heartfelt condolences to the Mader family. Frank was an amazing individual who was always ready to greet with a warm smile and welcoming personality. He will be missed but his presence will continue to live on with his family and the treasured memories that will always be in our hearts.

I would like to send my sincere condolences to you Edna, and the Mader family for your loss. Frank was one of the first dentists to welcome me into the Landon dental community. He was an admired dental professional, but when I think of Frank I see a gentle caring soul whose warmth and humanity shone through in everything he did. Our Northern fishing trips were memorable generating many friendships that still exist. I am so disappointed that I am out of town and will not be there to honour this lovely man with all his friends and family.
Rest in peace my friend.

Monsters
Song by James Blunt

Listen
Oh, before they turn off all the lights
I won't read you your wrongs or your rights
The time has gone
I'll tell you goodnight, close the door
Tell you I love you once more
The time has gone
So here it is
I'm not your son, you're not my father
We're just two grown men saying goodbye
No need to forgive, no need to forget
I know your mistakes and you know mine
And while you're sleeping I'll try to make you proud
So, daddy, won't you just close your eyes?
Don't be afraid, it's my turn
To chase the monsters away
Oh, well, I'll read a story to you
Only difference is this one is true
The time has gone
I folded your clothes on the chair
I hope you sleep well, don't be scared
The time has gone
So here it is
I'm not your son, you're not my father
We're just two grown men saying goodbye
No need to forgive, no need to forget
I know your mistakes and you know mine
And while you're sleeping I'll try to make you proud
So, daddy, won't you just close your eyes?
Don't be afraid, it's my turn
To chase the monsters away
Sleep a lifetime
Yes, and breathe a last word
You can feel my hand on your own
I will be the last one
So I'll leave a light on
Let there be no darkness, in your heart
But I'm not your son, you're not my father
We're just two grown men saying goodbye
No need to forgive, no need to forget
I know your mistakes and you know mine
And while you're sleeping I'll try to make you proud
So, daddy, won't you just close your eyes?
Don't be afraid, it's my turn
To chase the monsters away

The Mader and McDermott families. So sorry to hear of Franks passing. He was a cherished neighbour and friend, so many great memories growing up in our farming community. Frank was a well respected, caring, compassionate and gentle man.
Our family is holding you close at heart and remembering you all in our prayers.

Mike, Dan, Maureen, David and family, your father was a great man. His gentle disposition, his wonderful attitude towards life made being around him a joy. I never had the experience of having Frank be my dentist but I can imagine him telling me wonderful stories while he worked on my teeth ( and me being unable to reply until he changed tools!). I could share some wonderful stories but the one that stands out was when he told me about shooting one of Mike’s black powder guns and wounding an F-150 pick up truck….. classic!
Frank, if you’re somewhere where you can read this, and I’m sure you are, thank you for being one of the kindest people I have ever met. You were always a joy to be around. We were blessed to know you and we are sorry we can’t be there to say goodbye. Our love to the family, Cliff and Debbie Laidlaw

I didn't know Frank, but heard about him from Maureen. It sounds like he was a very nice man with a sense of humour. My condolences and prayers go out to Maureen, Franks wife Edna and all the family.
