Obituary of Muriel Alecta Rice

RICE, Muriel (Lacroix)

Muriel died peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday May 18, 2024 at the age of 91. Predeceased by her father and mother William and Malvina Lacroix and sister Theresa Lacroix. Muriel will be sadly missed by her sister Jan (Howard) Traynor and children Paul Rice, Laurie (Craig) Blackley and Sue Mudge. “Murmur” was a proud grandmother to Caitlin, Dylan, Jim and Liam. Caring aunt to Michael, Denise, Paul and Chris. Pre-retirement, Muriel was a dedicated NICU nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She loved reading, cooking, history, gardening, needlepoint, painting and the Blue Jays! Muriel was a strong, courageous woman bowed by ill health in her last years.
