Died on April 24th, 2024 at home where she wanted to be, Frances Clare Duggan MacLean. Born in Petrolia, Ontario June 1, 1922 – a Hard Oiler – to John and Katharine Gleeson Duggan, the third child in a family of seven children.
Predeceased by her parents, her husband Ralph Spencer, and their children Charles Terrence and Katharine Clare, her brothers Flt. Lt. John DFC and Dennis, and her sisters Mary VanSickle, Elizabeth Evoy, Anne MacLean and Martha Walsh. Clare is survived by her son Ian Spencer (Pat) and her granddaughters
Jamie and Sarah, of Kelowna, B.C. Remembering Clare are her brother-in-law Allan Evoy, and many much loved nieces, nephews, their children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo St. at King St., London, Ontario, 519 434-2708, on Tuesday, May 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 o’clock. Prayers will be held at 7 o’clock.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta St. London, Ontario on Wednesday morning, May 15th at 10 o’clock. Reception in Holy Family hall following burial in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
