Obituary of Teresa Agnes Bedard

November 10, 1926 - April 11, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Teresa Bédard on Thursday, April 11, 2024 in her 98th year.  Beloved wife of the late Léandre Bédard (1997).  Loving mother of Fr. Gerard Bédard, Mary-Margaret Denomme (Doug), Charles Bédard, and Elizabeth Martens (Joe).  Loving grandmother of Greg Denomme (Diana), Chantal Gubbels (Josh), Andrew and Angela Denomme, Patrick, Theodore and Joseph Martens and great grandmother of Ethan and James Gubbels.  Predeceased by her parents Francis A. Baker and Nellie Mitchell, her three sisters Mary Baker, Sister Mary Frances Baker, Rita Heenan (Jim) and her three brothers Francis (Mary Carmel Lewis), John (Sally) and Clement Baker.  Survived by her sister-in-law Vera Bédard, her many nieces and nephews and their families.  Predeceased by her brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws Clarence, George (Olivia), Sr. Marie Pierre, Stanislaus, Bernadette Denomme (John), Therese Stark and Rose Regier (Lee).  Thank you to the staff at Marian Villla for their care of mom over the last year and a half. Teresa brought joy in our lives by her love for music, her sweet tooth, her readiness for a card game and her skills to clear off a checkerboard.  She will be remembered for her strong faith and love for her family.  Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London, on Monday, April 15, from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock.  Prayers will be held at 8 o'clock.  Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael's Church, 511 Cheapside Street, London, on Tuesday morning, April 16 at 11 o'clock.  Reception to follow.  Interment will be held in St. Peter's Cemetery, in St. Joseph's Ontario on Tuesday afternoon, April 16 at 3 o'clock.
