Obituary of Andrew Michael Ludziejewski
Peacefully on Saturday, March 30, 2024, in his 86th year, Andrew Michael Ludziejewski. Beloved husband of Dominica and deeply cherished father to Theresa (Wayne), Monica (Christopher) and Gregory (Jennifer) and utterly devoted grandfather to Natalie (Joel), Evan (Samantha), Tyler, Adam, Sarah, Jonah, Clara, Elijah, Joseph, Beatrice, Miriam, and Magdalena. Also a most precious great-grandfather to Andrew and dearest brother-in-law and uncle to several relatives in London and Toronto, as well as across Canada and Poland. During this most difficult time, we are strengthened by his true devotion to his faith in Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Saviour. Born in Poznan, Poland, in 1937 and facing great hardships during the Second World War, Andrew left for Canada with his family in 1950, where he started a new life. Andrew became a most accomplished pianist, piano teacher, church organist and choir director for more than 60 years at churches in London, Tillsonburg and Toronto. His performance of the works of Chopin were the highlight of his vast musical repertoire. Andrew was the kindest, gentlest most loving man who held faith and family most deeply in his heart.
