Obituary of Ryszarda Knap

Peacefully surrounded by family at home on March 17, 2024, Rysia (Ryszarda) Knap passed away at the age of 74. Loving wife of Stanislaw Knap for 53 years. Loved mother of Sylvia (Darrell) and Kasia (Artur). Proud and cherished babcia of Linda, Nela (Sebastian), Noah and Mason.

She loved deeply and fully, all of us. She welcomed everyone into her home with open arms. You never left babcia’s home with an empty belly or a sweet treat for the road. She was made to be a babcia and wore that title proudly. We will miss her so much but know she will be looking over us every step of the way.

Our family extends its gratitude and appreciation to the many caregivers who have helped, especially Dr. Raphael and his oncology team along with the Dr. El Sadek, Dr. Karaouzas and the lovely nurses at St. Elizabeth’s palliative team.

Cremation has taken place. Condolences and shared recollections may be forwarded to Donohue Funeral Home.

Please join the family for a funeral mass at Our Lady of Częstochowa on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 10 am. (Rosary at 9:30 am). Refreshments to follow the Funeral Mass at Donohue Funeral home from 11:30 am - 1 pm). An interment private burial will follow.
