Obituary of Richard Leonard Powell

Peacefully at LHSC Victoria Hospital on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 Richard Leonard Powell, in his 82nd year.  Loving husband of 45 years of Colleen (nee Middleton) Powell.  Proud father of Brent Powell (Melissa) and Dean Powell.  Survived by his grandchildren Victoria, Katherine and Jacqueline.  Dear brother of Fred Powell (Donna-Rae).  Predeceased by his brothers William and Wayne Powell (Carol).  Rick will be remembered by his nieces, nephews and cousins.  Rick was a member of Huff and Puff for several years, loved to golf, was an avid sports fan, a London Knights, Montreal Canadiens, Kansas City Chief and Toronto Blue Jay supporter, enjoyed music, his times at Victory Branch Legion and at his new home at Royalcliffe Retirement.  The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Victoria Hospital for the care Rick received.   A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Donations to Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.  (John T.
