Anto "Braco" Vukadin passed away peacefully at home at the age of 89 on February 12, 2024. A loving husband to Anda and devoted father to Diana (Bernard) Curic and Pavo “Tony” (Kimberly) Vukadin. Proud Didi to Marko & Natalie Curic and Reese Vukadin. Dear brother to Stipe (Snjezana) Vukadin, sister Draga (Jakov) Vrdoljak, brother-in-law to Janja Caleta & Ruza Condric and cousin Ante (Ankica) Antunovic. Predeceased by parents Zvonko and Ljuba Vukadin, brothers Peso (Ljuba (Bubica)) and Pavisa Vukadin, brothers-in-law Branko Krzelj, Mirko Caleta, Mirko Condric, Branka and Nikola Mamuza. He will be missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends in Canada, Croatia and Germany.
He was a proud Croatian who loved watching his beloved country's soccer team, a good meal, discussing politics and spending time with his family and friends. The family is extremely grateful to the LHIN Coordinator Jennifer De Jong, Dr. Achtar, Paramed nurse Judy Jones and the entire VON Palliative Care PSWs (especially Dare, Henry, Jody, Marianne, Mercedes, Micheline, Richard and Vencott) for making his last wish to die peacefully at home come true.
Visitors are welcome to the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, London, ON on Friday, February 16th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Leopold Mandic Croatian Catholic Church, 2889 Westminster Drive, London on Saturday, February 17th at 10 am. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Anto can be made for the renovations of his cherished St. Leopold Mandic Croatian Catholic Church.
