(1928 – 2024)
Marjorie passed away peacefully on February 5, 2024, at the Maple Grove Care Community in Brampton, ON, in her 97th year. Beloved wife of 58 years to the late Gordon Burns. Loving mother to Stuart Burns and his wife Karen, Shelagh Parg and her husband Ed, and Martha Rayner and her husband Brian. Cherished grandmother to Richard, Alyssa, Kevin, Emilie and Kathryn. Special aunt to Margie and Barry Scott and Ian and Joan Grant and their families. Beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. Her brothers, Philip and Boyd, and her sister, Kathryn, predeceased her.
Marjorie will be remembered for her kind, compassionate spirit, love, and devotion to family, friends, the Catholic church, her community, and many charitable organizations.
A heartfelt 'thank you to Maple Grove Care Community staff for their support in Marjorie's time of need.
