Weekes, Irene (nee Leal)

Peacefully at Elmwood Place on Sunday, February 4, 2024, Irene Weekes, in her 96th year.  Loving wife of the late Jack Weekes (2017).  Loved and loving mother of Lynda Bradfield and Bob (Debbie) Weekes).  Proud grandmother of Matthew, Trina (Brad), Daniel (Michelle), Alysia, Kristie (Chester), and Tara (Rick).  Great grandmother of Jackson, Seth, Morgan, Avery, Jonah, Melody, Emery, Julianna and Koby.  Dear sister of late Betty (late Jim)  (late Bob), late Frank (late Carm), late James (late Helen), late Mary (late Murray) Ken (late Pauline) (late Shirley),late Pat (Currie), John (Joyce), late Danny (Ardis) and Andy (Cindy).   Aunt Irene will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.  Irene was a proud member of the CWL for over 70 years and a proud member of Royal Canadian Legion 505 in Lambeth,at one time serving as President of the Lady Auxillary.  Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Wednesday evening 7-9 o'clock.  Funeral Mass will be held at Mary Immaculate Church, 1980 Trafalgar Street, on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock.  Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery.  Donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, the Salvation Army or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
