Peacefully, at Elmwood Place on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, Minalda Almeida passed away in her 88th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Manuel Almeida (2016).  Cherished mother of Armenio (Isabel) Almeida, Fernanda Almeida, Maria (Danny) DiCicco and the late Manuel Almeida Jr. (1981). Beloved Avo of Rosemarie (Aron), Celia (Tim), Adam (Debbie), Kevin (Christine), Nancy (James), Kyle and Danielle. Avozinho of Andrew, Ryan, Payton, Jessie, Kenzie Grayson, Lillie and Gabriella.  Dear sister of Ermezinda (Jack), Enfegenia (Herculano), Aurelio (Alice), Joaquim (Natalia).  Predeceased by her brothers Abel (Alda) and Albertino (Olinda). Minalda will be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  Funeral Mass to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Church, 10 Elm Street.  Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum - St. Peter’s Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
