Vincenza Zanini

1938-2023

Surrounded by the love of her family at home, Vincenza Anna Zanini (nee Carcone) passed away at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Stefano. Loving mother of Giovanna, Diana (Douglas), Lavinia (Jos), and Stefania. She was the proud grandmother of Janneke, Evan, and Alexander. She will be dearly missed by her brothers and sisters, Tony (Lloydean), Gina (Vince), Franca (the late Bruno), Rita (Sandy), Anna (Mario), and Joe (Imee). She was loved by many sisters in law, brothers in law, and nieces and nephews. 

Her friends and family called her Enza, Enza was kind and generous and above all, a hard worker. She had a positive outlook on life and a twinkle in her eye. She was a talented seamstress and loved to create something out of nothing. Her hands never stopped. In lieu of flowers donations in Enza’s memory can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the charity of your choice.

Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday, December 29 from 2-4pm. Prayers will be held Friday evening at 4:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Mary Immaculate Church, 1980 Trafalgar Street, on Saturday morning, December 30 at 11am. Entombment in St. Peter's Cemetery – Holy Family Mausoleum.
