Obituary of Alberto Mario Barbon
BARBON, Alberto Mario - At Parkwood Institute, surrounded by his family on Wednesday December 13, 2023 at the age of 92. Loving husband of the late Maria Pia. Cherished father of Luigi (Deborah), Renato (Cory), and Franco (Kathryn). Proud Nonno of Stephen, Alicia, Mia, Bryce, Benjamin, Joshua and Michael. Dear brother of the late Antonio Barbon, Gildo (Ida) Barbon, Giuseppe (Vilma) Barbon, Natalina (Virgilio) Gheller and Mario (Grasiella) Barbon. Zio Berto will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Luigi and Anna Barbon. Alberto was dedicated to his family and enjoyed countless hours tending to his garden and making sausages. Alberto will forever be in our hearts. Visitors will be received at JOHN T. DONOHUE FUNERAL HOME, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Wednesday, December 27th from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Thursday morning, December 28th at 11 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery.
