Suddenly passed away in his 69th year. Loving father to Katlyn Quinlan. David will be profoundly missed by all his siblings; Michael (Cathy), Maureen (Al), Paul (Debbie), Lawrence, Patrick, Nancy (Mark), Jeanette (John) and Terry (Caroline). Uncle David will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. David is now resting in peace with his predeceased brother Jimmy and his parents Michael and Margaret Quinlan.
David will also be missed by his euchre friends and coffee club in his building. David was a poet and didn't even know it. The force was strong in David, his love for Star Trek and Star Wars and his affection to historical and recent hockey cards will always remind us of him . If he could have, David would have, taken his hockey card collection with him.
Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Sunday, October 15 from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Prayers will be held at 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 1 Fallons Lane, on Monday morning, October 16 at 11 o'clock. Interment to follow in St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in David's memory please consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
