Obituary of Margaret Mary Kempster
KEMPSTER, Margaret (nee Worrall)
at Georgian Heights LTC in Owen Sound on December 22, 2008, Margaret Mary Elenora Kempster, age 94. Wife of the late Ernest Kempster (June 2008). Mother of Nicholas Corrie, Deena Findlay (Doug), Paul Kempster (Dawn), Faith Clark and Julia Carney (Ron). Survived by 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Special friend of Catherine Cartwright. Born in London on November 11, 1914; daughter of Nicholas Worrall (1941) and Geraldine Morkin (1993). Predeceased by brother James (1968) and sister Mildred (2003). Mom's childhood was spent in Broughdale and north London. Her passing marks the end of the family's oldest generations from the 19th and 20th centuries. We mourn their loss, along with their many fantastic stories and memories. Margaret Mary was a very intelligent and talented woman while remaining down to earth. The luck of the Irish gave her two parents of Tipperary Irish descent: one Catholic, one Protestant. Thus, she was blessed with a great sense of humour and quick wit. No one ever tried harder to please and create a better tomorrow than our Mom, Nanny and Mammy. Her determination will remain an example to us all-she will sorrily be missed. Mom truly loved all her family and we in turn loved her. But how do children express the love they feel for their mother-mere words fail. Only other children know how much you can love your mother. Thank you God for your special gift. We are eternally grateful and acknowledge that all good things come from You. Our mother certainly did. For the past three months, Mom resided at Georgian Heights LTC: we thank the caring staff and friendly residents for their many kindnesses. A Private family funeral service will be held at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home on Saturday December 27, 2008 at 12 Noon. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to St. Peter's Seminary.
