Gaetano Monaco, 77, affectionately known as “Nino” by his family and friends, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 17, 2023, with his loving wife and children by his side at St. Joseph’s Hospice. His gentle, welcoming nature and warm smile brought joy and happiness to all who knew him, and their home was always open to family and friends, where the table was soon set, and delicious food and a glass of wine were always ready.

As a proud father and Nonno, Nino was dedicated to his children and grandchildren, Angela and Mike and their children Nico and Briella, Michelle and Vitor and their son Mateo, and Cristina and Doug and their children Holden and Fiona.  He instilled the values of family first, hard work, integrity, and compassion in them.
