Obituary of Gisele Marie Yolande Ede

Ede, Gisele Marie Yolande (nee Guevremont)

April 8, 1934-August 5, 2023

Our sadness doesn't begin to describe how heartbroken we are to announce the sudden passing of our beloved Mother.  On  August 5, 2023 passed away in her 90th year.  Loving mother to Andrew, Gerald (Lee-Ann), Denise, Paul, Christopher and Edward (James).  Also adopted mother to Christine Tomczyk.  Dearly loved by her grandchildren Jennifer, Samantha, Andrew, Vanessa, Rebecca, Kurtis, Joshua, Keegan and Emma.  Her great-grandchildren Marcis, Lilliana, Harrison, Lincoln and Novack.  Great great-granddaughter Arabella and her adopted grandchildren Valerie, Michelle and Krystal.  Sister in law of Monique Guevremont.  Predeceased by her parents Adolf and Bernadette Guevremont, her brothers Paul (Mable), Armond, John and her sister Lucy.  Also predeceased by her daughter-in-law Joann Ede.  She was a strong woman that had 6 children in an 8 year span.  She gave everything to her children usually going without herself.  She was a kind, generous, caring woman who gave unconditionally.  Everyone she met easily fell in love with her, she was so unmistakeably lovable.  Our family would like to thank all the staff at Craigweil Gardens for making her feel so at home and loved.  

Visitors will be received at John. T Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, London, on Saturday August 19, 2023 from 10am – 11am. Funeral Service to follow at 11am. Inurnment at St. Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Gisele’s memory can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Dementia Society.  

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
