My condolences to George and family. I've always rememberd Gina for her role as Winnifred in the CCH play "Once Upon a Mattress." (I was in grade 10 and was part of the chorus.) She was fantastic in the role. Funny and great singing, with great antics as the bumbling drinking princess with whom the prince falls in love. I also seem to remember her as being warm and kind, a very likeable person. May her love stay in your hearts and her soul fly high and free.

Gina was a force made of love, joy, courage and laughter. We met at age 16 and she instantly made my life better. She was kind beyond measure and always saw the best in others. Although I had not seen Gina in many years, the memories of Gina LaLaLa were constantly remembered by me and my family. Her joy, passion and love was infectious and her fight was inspirational. Acting with Gina was a joy, she oozed talent and creativity. She was funny/goofy and I was always impressed with her ability to burp on command. What I remember most though, was her kindness and loving soul. I am so very sorry to hear of her passing and wish those closest to her love and peace.

I am so very sorry to learn that my cousin and god-daughter, Gina, has passed away so early in her exemplary life. My condolences to Uncle George, my cousins, Celine, Joanne, Mary and George, as well as Gina's husband and son. Gina, Kate Rubin and I co-founded a small theatre company called WAVE Theatre and produced four shows together between 2095 and 2012. It was a joy performing alongside Gina, as she was so talented and very generous on stage. She will be much missed. RIP.
