ERNEST (Ernie) JOSEPH JAMES EELEY

Eeley, Ernest (Ernie) - With saddened hearts, the loving family of Ernest (Ernie) Eeley announces his peaceful passing on to his deserved reward June 26, 2023.

Born Sept 3, 1943, in Aylesham, England to parents David Eeley, (2001) and Kathleen (Thompson) Eeley (2000). Beloved and loving husband of Ann Marie (Pyne) Eeley of 58 years and loving Father to Scott (Jane) Eeley, Lon (Brenda) Eeley, Kelly and (Josh) Rath. Dear Papa to James and Krista Eeley, Mitchell and Mackenzie Eeley.

Former owner/operator of Eeley Chevrolet Oldsmobile Limited, Straffordville, On. Member of the Straffordville Lions Club as well as former Club President for two consecutive years. Member of Knights of Columbus Council #10561, Holy Family Parish, London, On.

Survived by his brother David (Judy), sister Roslyn Myles (Dave), sister Christine Dunnell (Doug) and brother Clint (Dianne) and by his many nieces and nephews and cousins. Also survived by Aunt Pat Henshaw and Uncle Ernie Thompson in England. The family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to Dr. Andrew Whynot for his "special services" and to the exceptional and caring staff and volunteers of Country Terrace Nursing and Long-Term Care Home in Komoka, On.

Visitors will be received at Holy Family Catholic Church, 777 Valetta St., London On., Friday, June 30 from 9:15 A.M. until the Mass of the Celebration of Ernie’s life at 10:00 A.M.  Inurnment to follow at 1:00 P.M. at St. Mary’s Cemetery, in the town of St. Mary’s, On.
