Peacefully at Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care on Thursday, June 8, 2023, Mary McAleer (nee Carpenter) in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd McAleer (2015). Loving mother of Darlene McAleer, Shirley (Jack) Stanton and Bernice (Jim) Patton. Proud grandmother of Shawn, Jeff (Karen), Lisa (Steve) and Ryan (Flora), and 10 great-grandchildren. Survived by her siblings Anne, Evelyn and Jimmy. Predeceased by her parents Peter and Georgina Carpenter, siblings Joe, Norbert and Ida. 
A private funeral service was held with interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. The family would like to thank Marian Villa 1st floor staff for their excellent care our mother received.  (www.donohuefuneralhome.ca)
