Dear Mike and family, I was absolutely shattered when I read Edith's obituary this morning. I am so very, very sorry for your loss. Edith and you were the best neighbours ever. I was there for the first date, the wedding and so many iced teas on the back deck. I am sorry I had not been in touch for a while, But I know Edith would have been delighted with her grandchildren. She was so very proud of Erin and her accomplishments. My heart goes out to you all. With love from, Heather (Special Heather) nickname compliments of Edith and Mike

So sorry for your recent loss of Edith. Edith and I went to Tweedsmuir Public School as young children up to Grade 8. Speaking to her at the Reunion she was a bubbly, successful and strong woman who reached out to others. She has always been a person I remember over the years as her presence was always noticed.
