Leckie, Thomas Henry “Tom”

Tom (Tommy to those near and dear) arrived in this world on December 9, 1938 in London, Ontario and passed suddenly on May 14, 2023.  Son of late Mae (nee Haley) and Norman Leckie.  Much loved husband of Colleen.  Proud father to Anne, Joe and James (Bobbi).  Survived by his siblings Doreen (Ray), Norma (late Roger) and Dick (Denise).  Brother-in-law of Carmel (late Don), Bob (Linda) and Laura (Dave).  He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all that knew him. 

Tom will be remembered for being generous, kind, and extremely patient.  He had a rewarding career as an instructor at Fanshawe College and loved to putter around the farm upon retirement making friends at both places. 

Thank you to the EMS Paramedics and University Hospital Emergency staff for their excellent care. 

Visitors will be received at St. Michael’s Parish, 511 Cheapside Street, on Thursday, May 18, 2023, from 10:00am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00am.  Cremation to follow.  In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Tom to the St. Joseph Hospice, London would be appreciated.
