I Just now came across the obituary for your dear Mom....sending you all love and my deepest condolences on your loss...I saw Mrs. G At my Mom and Dads house when she was visiting with our Mom , after they moved to Nova Scotia, and since Mr. Gavin passed...and of course, during the lifetime of visits back and forth, that your parents and ours, had over the years. Your Mom and Dad were such wonderful, incredible people, I remember well all the laughter that they all shared over the kitchen table at our house, or yours.....wonderful memories. So very sorry we missed the funeral, we would have been there, for sure...diana, joh and frank are away right now on work or vacation trips, Rick passed away in 2014, in Vancouver....sending love and hugs to you all from me and the sibs....

My sympathy to the Gavin family. You have lost an amazing matriarch of your family. I knew here when I was Chaplain at Glendale Crossing. She happily attended Mass, rosary, prayer circles, socials and music programs. Her quiet gentle nature, the way she welcomed and encouraged others were here Catholic faith in action. She spoke lovingly and proudly about her family. I am a better person for having her in my life.

Dear Family,
Please accept my condolences on the passing of your mother and grandmother, Mae Gavin. She has been my friend for a great many years. Our husbands were employees of Imperial Oil (Esso) . Both families were transferred to Toronto in 1980 and settled in Newmarket . Later we came back to London and renewed our friendship, after our husbands passed. I have enjoyed our visits and lunches together until covid halted them. She was an interesting , friendly person and very pleasant to talk to on the phone and in person. I recently had a knee replacement and am unable to drive at present. Otherwise I would have been present at her funeral. My prayers will be with you all as you mourn her passing. You all were blessed to have her as a mother and grandmother.
Yours truly, Aurilla Ripley
