Obituary of Rick Ostrowski

Ostrowski, Richard 

With sadness and loving memories, the family of Richard "Rick" Ostrowski announce his peaceful passing on Monday, April 10, 2023.  Left to mourn is his beloved wife of 57 years, Lillian.  Predeceased by his beloved son, Erik (2020), his parents, Stefan (2000), Stefania (2006) and his great granddaughter, Ramona (2022).  He leaves behind his son, Paul (Teresa), daughter-in-law, Kristen and his loving grandchildren Alexander (Emily), Christopher (Kylie), Victoria and Evelyn.  Survived by his brother, Steve (Nancy) of Orillia, his brother-in-law, Joe (Cathy) Kubina of Stoney Creek, his nieces Sonja (Rob) Whitehead, Jennifer Kubina and nephews, Matthew (Amanda) and Joey (Jess).  Rick was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus, St. John the Divine Council and McNamara Assembly.  He proudly served with the Ontario Provincial Police for 33 years.  Cremation has taken place.  Visitors will be received at St. John the Divine Church, 390 Baseline Road West, on Saturday, May 6 from 9:30am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 am.  Private interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington, Ontario at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to the Alzheimer Society or the McCormick Home Day Program.
