Patricia Ann Bertoia (nee: Ortwein)

With her sons near her side Patricia Ann Bertoia died peacefully in her home in Woodstock, ON at the age of 83 on Wednesday April 5, 2023.  Beloved wife of the late John L. Bertoia.  Born December 14, 1939 in Kirkland Lake, ON, daughter of the late Henry and Ada (nee Post) Ortwein.

Loving mother of Kevin, Christopher (Tracie), and Michael.  Cherished “Grammie” to Johnny and Emma.  The youngest of nine children, predeceased by her twin sister Beverley (Arch) Rayner, and siblings Helen (Hilly) Greer, Jimmy, Joyce, Emerald, Francis (Roy) Barnett, Ronnie (Maydell), and Billy.  

Known lovingly by the monikers “Aunt Patsy” to her many nieces and nephews and “Miss B” to the extended network of family and friends.  Grammie will be missed by her canine companions Sophia and Rookie. 

A strong, kind and loving woman, blessed with a sharp tongue and witty sense of humour. She is loved and will be missed by all who had the honour and privilege to know her.

Resting at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King St, London, ON. Visitations will be from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm-8:00pm on Tuesday, April 11.  Funeral Service at 11:00am on Wednesday, April 12.  Those wishing to join the family via livestream may do so at https://event.forgetmenotceremonies.com/ceremony?c=fe91c468-99c6-4cab-a718-0cd8f6163c01 Followed by a celebration of life at Joe Kool's, 585 Richmond Street, London from 12 noon - 3:30 pm. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery at a later date.
