The Celebration of Life for Rita scheduled for Saturday, February 18, 2023 is cancelled and will take place at a later date.
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at LHSC University Hospital on Monday, February 6, 2023, in her 76th year. Beloved wife of the late Richard Van Leeuwen. Beloved mother of Trevor (Lynn) and the late Marc (Vivianne). Loving grandmother of Spencer, Jessica, Kyle and Emrys. Survived by brother Ray Eaton. Predeceased by parents Ray and Rita Eaton. Cremation has taken place with a private family inurnment at St. Peter’s Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
