Remembering my dear Uncle John, he and Aunt Ann took me to Niagara Falls, Ontario when I was just a teenager. He loved to travel to California with his sister Ann and visit all the family. I remember him being very quiet and intellectual. I appreciate all the family memories and the recent needed prayers I asked him to say last summer. Since, he devoted his life I figured he was closer to God. May he rest in peace, Love never dies.

One of the best Orthodontists in Windsor and a Pilot. He was a graduate of RMC in or about 1980 and part of the RMC Alumni when it was an All Boys International School. Just call and let him know about Father Harper's passing.

The time has come to say a Final Farewell to my brother John. Here are a few memories of his adolescent years I wish to share with you.
We were born in Windsor, Ontario and lived a block from the Detroit River and about two miles from the Ambassador Bridge. John attended the all-boy Assumption High School. In the summers he worked as a Ride operator at an Amusement Park on Bob-Lo Island which was located between Ontario and Michigan. He took the bus about 20 miles to Amherstburg and from there the tug "Monte" over to Bob-Lo to get ready for the first Excursion Boat filled with picnickers from Detroit.
It wasn't long before he became an unacknowledged apprentice to the Maintenance Crew who inspected, maintained and repaired the Rides. Sometimes it involved riding the arms while the Ride was in motion in order to inspect the connections. One time he found a critical broken junction which he insisted they repair immediately, possibly saving lives. He also helped maintain the Boiler and, being the smallest, was sent inside to descale it -- which produced horrendous echoing noises.
John was interested in watching the Great Lakes Freighters pass by on the Detroit River. He could tell at a glance what sort of ship it was, what type of engines and size propelled it and what sort of cargo it carried. (This was before the St. Lawrence Seaway was completed).
John was also always into Stamp Collecting and over the years built up an IMPRESSIVE collection of early Canadian Revenue and Duty Stamps. Some of the Duty stamps were two feet long. John was ever interested in this World we live in.
So goodbye Dear Brother from your sister, Barbara,

To the Family of Father Harper,
I worked with Father Harper, Father Moss and Father Melon at Regina Mundi College and always felt blessed to have been able to enjoy his leadership, Father Melon's leadership and Father Moss's leadership. (We always assisted Father Moss into his tent at night because of asthma). These priests were instrumental in developing the lives of many very successful boys all over the world with awesome careers and family lives and of whom many belong to the Regina Mundi Alumni.
God Rest his soul.

I had the pleasure of working with Father Harper for many years at Regina Mundi College. I learned a tremendous amount from Father Harper which went way beyond just school operations. Lots of great memories sharing our office and those morning donuts and all those lunches.
Thanks for all your kindness Father.
God Bless
