Dear Marvin, and Hassen Family, I just saw this obituary, and I am very sorry to hear the news of your father, but wow, he almost made it it to 100. That is pretty amazing. I hope you are all doing well, despite the circumstances. I have arranged for 2 of the Traditional Latin Masses to be said for your Dad by a friend Fr Lane in California. Dear Haasen family, My condolences on the passing of your father. We had many good times playing cards with Morris and Anna. It was my husband Marinus that sold many of those deer that your father made, when we lived on Byron Baseline Road. We had wondered for a few years where Morris was. He lived a long life. I just wanted to let Morris' family know how much Harry Moffat and I enjoyed getting to know him over the last eight months at Mount Hope especially our weekly Euchre games with him and Rahima. His favourite saying was "let's get them out there" - meaning the trump cards. Harry was particularly delighted when Morris suggested they share a beer! We also enjoyed some of the bus trips together especially to Heeman's Strawberry Farm. We share in your grief - cherish your memories. Brenda Rouse
