I didn’t know Earl for very long, but what little I knew of him I liked very very much. We got to know each other from shooting the breeze at work at the ticket office downtown. I can immediately say, he was one of the calmest, most gentle and kind people I’ve ever met, and I loved chatting with him. He talked about his wife frequently, and I was always jealous of the snacks that she had packed in his lunch box. I will certainly miss seeing his warm, genuine, smiling face. My deepest condolences to the entire family, he was a great man.
