Laliberty, Mike "Lali"
Lali went out on his own terms on September 20, 2022 at age 53. Mike leaves behind the love of his life Jennifer (nee Watcher). Jennifer has been Mike's partner in crime and soul mate for 18 years. Raising their precious son Zachery, Mike took pride in teaching Zachery to play ball, ski, and be nice to others. Mike spent many years as a server in London restaurants most notably Joe Kool's and The Tasting Room, where he met many life long friends. Mike then returned to Western and completed his Masters in Geology thus beginning his passionate career in Mineralogy. As an avid sports fan Mike held his head high, though sometimes it was hard, on game days for the Seahawks, Jays and Leafs. Loving son of Sue Laliberty and brother to Darcy Laliberty. Dear son of the late Denis Laliberty (Jeanette Larocque). Lovingly welcomed as a son to Renee and the late Jerry Watcher. Brotha to Mike (Allie) Watcher and Debby (Tom) Edwards. Cherished uncle to Parker, Vivienne and Lauren. Mike will be fondly remembered and missed by many loving extended family. A special thank you to his oncologist Dr. Daniel Breadner, his nurse Sara, Dr. Joanna Laba, Dr. Anita Singh, the chemo nurses and all the staff at London Regional Cancer Program for their outstanding care and compassion. Jennifer, Zachery and family are eternally grateful for the care and support they received from St. Joseph Hospice of London. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Sunday, September 25th from 2-4 o'clock, where the funeral service will be held on Monday, September 26th at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mike may be made to St. Joseph Hospice London.
