Ronald John Meyer

1941 – 2022

Passed away peacefully with family by his side on September 15, 2022. Cherished father of Daniel (Donna), Robert (Amber), and Richard (Denise). He joins his loving wife of 53 years Ellen Margaret Meyer (nee Girodat). Predeceased by his father Edward, brothers Gerald (Nancy), Greg, and brother-in-law Al.  Survived by his mother Loretta.

He will be deeply missed by his godchildren, extended family, friends, and all who knew him.

A special thank you is extended to the staff at Dearness Home for their compassion and care. Cremation has taken place. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday, October 21, from 9:00 – 10:30 am. Memorial Service to follow at 10:30. Inurnment will be held at Avondale Cemetery in Stratford.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson’s Society or Alzheimer Society of Southwestern Ontario would be appreciated
