Peacefully at LHSC University Hospital on Sunday September 11, 2022, in her 100th year, Janina (Janet) Tomkowiak, born November 17, 1922. Predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years  Leon Tomkowiak (2006),.  Dear mother of daughters; Irene (Ron Krause) and Rosemary (Paul van Greuningen), sons; Theodore "Ted" and Edward " Ed".  Proud babcia of Tyler, Emma and Jacob. Special friend over the years to many in the Polish Community in the London, Mount Brydges and Strathroy area. Funeral Mass was held at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 419 Hill Street on Wednesday September 14, 2022. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery.  A special thanks to Michele, Virgil and Hadi who cared for Janet in the Lily neighbourhood of Westmount Gardens and to Dr. Milne and the Palliative Care resident team at University Hospital for their outstanding and compassionate care.
