Obituary of Letizia Mazzariol
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Letizia Mazzariol peacefully at LHSC with her family by her side on Monday, August 22, 2022, at the age of 84. Devoted and loving wife of 58 wonderful years to Luciano (2018). Proud and loving mother of Maria Mazzariol and Roberta Mazzariol (Derek Fletcher). Adored nonna of Zachary Griffiths and Matthew Fletcher. Loving sister of Ortenzia Valente, Francesco/Maria Curcio, and, Gioconda/Angelo Trovato; sister in law of Gina Curcio, Elisabetta Curcio, Maria Curcio and Rosetta Mazzariol. Pre-deceased by her parents Giovanni and Vittoria Curcio, Mario Curcio, Iolanda/Battista Loberto, Fioramante/Mariettina Curcio, Domenico Curcio, Vincenza/Vito Buragina, Concetta/Antonio Gugliotta, Velia/Antonio Bova, Umberto Curcio, Manfredo Valente and Lionello Mazzariol. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Awani for his never-ending dedication and compassion during this difficult journey. A heartfelt thank you to all who cared for her in the GBU, your devotion to your patients is unprecedented.
Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday, August 25th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Prayers will be held at 6:15 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Friday morning, August 26th at 10:00 am. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery.
