Obituary of Kenneth Richard Mol
MOL, Kenneth Richard-
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ken Mol on Monday, February 27th in Palatka, Florida. Ken died suddenly as a result of a motorcycle accident at the age of 64. Loving husband of 42 years of Tina (Catharina) Mol (nee Terpstra). Beloved father of Angela (Rob) Lawrence and Elissa (Josh) Grover. Proud Poppa Kenny and Grandpa to Graydon and Hudson Lawrence and Jacob and Kayla Grover. Daddy to Max. Dear brother of Laurie (Lorne) Timchuck and the late Greg Mol. Predeceased by his parents Gus Mol and Ellen Mol. Fondly remembered by his extended family and many friends and motorcycle buddies. Ken worked at the Ford Motor Company in Talbotville for 30 years and retired in 1998. Since then Ken has enjoyed traveling, spending the winters in Florida; putting lots of miles on his motorcycle, alone and with his friends, throughout North America; hanging out in the garage with his buddies and spending time with his girls who he lovingly referred to as Honey, Monkey and Pumpkin. Ken loved his dogs and most people got to know him while he was out on his walks with them. An amazing mechanic, Ken helped many people over the years with their vehicles and took pride in being able to assist. We hope that on his way home Ken found his beloved dog Hogan and has reunited with Baloo and Bart. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 o'clock. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Justin's Catholic Church, 855 Jalna Boulevard on Saturday morning, March 10, 2012 at 10 o'clock. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery.
