I grew up with Jason from St. Anne’s and John Paul II. I always enjoyed our chats over the years. His daughter was the light of his life. He never hesitated to ask for parenting advice or talk about how proud he was of her. Rest in Heavenly Peace and Rise in His Glory, Jason. God bless your family.

Being Joe’s younger sister, I have pretty much known Jason my whole life. When I went to high school he was like another protective big brother. He always checked in to make sure things were going okay. And that’s what Jay continued to do. Watch over and check in to make sure you were ok. He was my videographer at my wedding because we needed one. Whenever my favourite band came to London he would message me to make sure I knew about it. He was genuinely caring and always willing to help. Jay was part of such a great group of friends who will now have to live with a missing piece. He was taken way too soon and he will be so greatly missed.
Rest In Peace Jay, our family is so thankful for a friend like you.
Love: Kim and the Frewen Family

Jay…what can I say. You have been a part of my life for so long. I am so blessed that you called me a friend, a part of our family. Your memories will continue to live on with our close group of friends. You will forever remain a part of our family, in our memories, in our conversations, in our hearts. As time passed, our times together were fewer, but they never missed a beat. You would always make me smile, and will continue to do so. Love you

My Dear Friend Jay,
Well, the final chapter of “The Book of Macauley” concludes. Your classic life stories that our friends continue to tell and laugh with will never end. I am so proud to have called you my best friend for 44 years. I remember it like yesterday when we were first introduced to each other in junior kindergarten. You had a heart of gold, were so kind and always smiled and laughed when we were together. Not many people are able to share that special bond you and I had. I am blessed to have been with you on your life journey right until the very end. Thank you for always being so kind to the Taylor family. You will never be forgotten or replaced. I love you buddy.
Your friend always, Joe.

So shocked and saddened to learn of Jason's passing. My brother Ryan was a good friend of his and I have many fond memories of late night basketball games and swims at our house. He was always so friendly and kind, allowing a "little brother" to hang out with his amazing group of friends. My heart goes out to all of Jason's family and dear friends - he was a good one.

I was fortunate enough to have known Jason through my younger brother, Joe Taylor. Joe and Jason met in Kindergarten and remained close friends for over 40 years. Jason was often at our family home growing up and what I remember most about Jason was his big smile and gentle soul. Jason had such a kind and generous heart and I know that he will be greatly missed by many. My deepest condolences to all of his family and his amazing friends. Big hugs and may you finally rest in peace Jason. Lots of Love from Tammy (Taylor) and the Myatt Family

For The Macauleys: I am so sorry for your loss. Having spent a lot of time in your wonderful home as a kid/teen, I did have occasion to spend some time with Jason who was always warm and kind to me. It was also really helpful to Sarah and I when the bullies on the playground wanted to kick us off the tire swings, and she had an older brother to call on to protect us:) Sending love to you all during this time xo
