Woods (Woody) Alfred November 7, 1937 - March 2, 2012 At rest and peacefully at home Alfred (Woody) Woods. Beloved husband of Sarah (Ryan) for 47 years. Beloved father and father-in-law of Cheryl and Robert Doucette of Milton, Andrea and Jason Deyell of London. Papa to his two "little men" Noah and Owen. Loving son of Helen Woods and the late Augustus (1962) N.L. and late sister Marguerite Duffney (2002). Loving brother Peter (Vera) of Nova Scotia, Pearl (Greg) Karczewski of California, Ellis (Ruth) of Kitchener, Ignatius (Emma) of Nfld, Leonard (Jackie) of Kingston, Clayton (Francis), Murdock (Diane), Dolores Kendall, Carolyn (Alfred) Myra and Patrick (Wendy) all of Nova Scotia. Brother-in-law of Margaret Blake (late Robert) of Oregon, Ann Marie (Bill) Doucet of Nova Scotia, Ursula (Ray) Schumph, Dennis (Carmel) Ryan, Tillie (late Cyril 2001) Ryan of Nfld. In his working years Woody could be found at YJT, YYZ and he retired at YXU. Woody will be sadly missed by his many friends and family. Special thanks to the Team of St. Joseph's Medical Center and CCAC. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday, March 5th from 7-9 and Tuesday, March 6th from 10 o'clock until the time of the memorial funeral service at 11 o'clock. Interment in Holy Family Mausoleum - St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations made to Spinal Cord Research - C/O Robarts Research Institute or London Regional Cancer Program - C/O London Health Sciences Foundation would be appreciated.
