Joseph Paul Testa
November 5, 1948 – March 5, 2022

Peacefully with his family by his side, while listening to ‘Viva Malta’, on Saturday, March 5 of natural causes. Our beloved Joseph was born on November 5, 1948 in Vittoriosa, Malta. He is predeceased by his cherished parents, Giovanna (Jane) and Felix Testa. Dad will be missed by us, his children, Michelle (Keith), Stephen, and Rachel (Mark) and forever loved by his grandchildren, Sydney, Gabriel, Isaac, Seylah and Mireya. His siblings Lawrence (Jean), Paulette (Fred), Monica (Vince), and Bernadette (Lawrence) will remember him as their entertaining and fun-loving brother always. He will remain unforgotten by many cousins, nieces and nephews in Canada, Malta and Australia. Dad immigrated to London, Canada in 1973 with our Mom (Mary), to start a brand-new life. In between precious trips ‘home’, Dad spent many wonderful years playing in the contemporary choir at Holy Family Parish, being part of the Maltese Canadian community and enjoyed a long career at Unifin International. Our world was musical because of him. We would have sung fewer songs, danced and laughed far less without him in our lives. Viva Malta. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at 10 o’clock. Private interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice or Holy Family Parish is kindly requested.
