Evelyn and I wish to extend our sincere sympathies to Maureen, her family and all of John's loved ones. John and I grew up in the same neighbourhood, and I have known him for some 65 years. He was a kind, gentle man with an infectious laugh. John was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and a man of deep faith. He was an active leader in the catholic community of London for many years in several ways.
John's many students will remember him as an excellent teacher, including our son, Mark. He touched the lives of many young people in a very positive way during his many years of dedicated teaching.
We are praying for Maureen and the entire Littleton family at this time of great loss and sorrow. We will remember John in our prayers, and may he rest in peace!
Evelyn and Pat O'Brien,M.P. (Ret.)

Maureen and family. It is hard to put into words our deepest condolences for all of you on the passing of our dear friend John. As a teacher and coach at JP II, he was a great influence on our daughter Kimberly throughout high school and playing baseball for St. Andrew's (way back) are lastings memories we cherish. John's smile and his silent laugh will certainly be missed as we walk into St. Andrew's parish each week.
Our Love....His Peace, God Bless,
Paulette and Peter Amsden

To use a baseball analogy, John, as a Christian and as I knew him, was third in the lineup; the guy whose hitting style and power was such that he could bring others 'Home'. I'm sure there are more than a few people out there who are indebted to John's spiritual style and power that has helped them along their journey back to 'Home'.
