Simpson, Frank Gerard

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at the age of 87. Born on August 2, 1934 in Farnworth, England to the late Frank and Emily Simpson. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Joan Simpson (nee Keenan). Father of Bernadette Simpson, Frank Simpson, Peter Simpson and Mary Simpson (Paul). Grandfather of Christopher, Brent, Jordan, Alexandra and great-grandfather of Matthew and Chelsea. Survived by brothers Michael Simpson (Joan), Peter Simpson (Elizabeth), and sister Margaret Finch (Graham), sister-in-law Joan Murray and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Anthony Simpson. Frank was an Ontario Police Constable for many years and then became a teacher until his retirement. He was a valued member of the Royal Canadian Legion and Moose Lodge. Visitors are welcome to John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 12:00 to 1:30 pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 1:30 pm. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, a limited number of people are able to attend.
