On Thursday peacefully at home. Loved and loving husband of Gaye (Stewart) of 58 years, survived by his children Mary Pat, David (Michele), Kevin (Heather), and Scott (Tara).  Missed by his grandchildren Stewart, Carter, Gaelen, Molly (Dom), Matthew (Makayla), Evan, Georgia, Lily, and Emma

Survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Joanne and Orville Jackson and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.

Predeceased by his parents, Chester and Dorothy, his sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Walter Williams and his daughter-in-law Kerry

John enjoyed his years as a longtime owner of Chester Pegg Jewellers and was involved in various community activities. He and Gaye were avid sports fans (especially the London Knights and Toronto Blue Jays).  They loved to travel and had many amazing holidays which created wonderful memories.

John was a member of the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus, the London Jaycees and a life member of the Canadian Power and Sail Squadron.

John worked hard, played hard and enjoyed life to the fullest.

Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday, November 9 from 2-4 and 6-8 o'clock in 1/2 hour increments.  Registration is required.  Please email donohue@donohuefuneralhome.ca with your name, phone number and time preference.  Due to Covid 19 restrictions a private Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation, Breast Cancer Research or the London Food Bank would be appreciated.
