Hennessy, Katherine Colleen “Connie” (nee Fagan)
Suddenly while visiting her husband at Parkwood Hospital on Monday, September 20, 2021 Katherine Hennessy in her 86th year. Loving wife of almost 63 years of Jim Hennessy. Beloved mother of the late Vincent (Ann) Hennessy, late Bernice (late Robert) MacKean, Bridget (David) Milligan, Lawrence (Tracy) Hennessy and Christopher (Sharrie) Hennessy. Cherished grandmother of Aiden, Ryan, Patrick, Heather, Nathan, Brendan, Megan, Jessica, Shannon, Jennifer, Hailey and Grace and great grandmother of Arayah. Dear sister of Bob (late Lorna) Fagan. Predeceased by her siblings Bill (Roberta), Fran (Jim) Beethan, Patricia (Martin) Mallett, and Jim (Betty). Aunt Connie will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Connie Hennessy was born to Violet and Michael Fagan. She met, married and raised her family in the city of London. Her interests included travelling, gardening and sewing. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Connie. She loved to travel across Canada visiting many friends and family. She found happiness in her daily activities. Her pleasant personality, wit and humour was contagious to everyone she met. Connie's strength in her faith helped her overcome both personal loss and her recent medical issues. Her courage in facing life challenges, despite the pain meant Connie came out a hero and stayed strong until the end. Connie’s love for life did not come to an end with her death. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family members. She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday, September 27th from 2-4 and 7-8 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at Mary Immaculate Church, 1980 Trafalgar Street, on Tuesday, September 28th at 11 o'clock.
