At Parkwood Hospital on November 11, 1999 Silvio (Cecil) Polci passed away after a long struggle with cancer. He was in his 71st year. Beloved husband of Catherine Anderson Polci and loving father of Matthew Silvio Polci. Dear son of the late Antonio Polci and his wife Guiseppina Gabrielli. Dear brother of Armand Polci and his wife Lillian of Woodstock, Yolanda Masseo of London, Maria Jackson of Dorchester, Alberta Maturani of Phoenix, Fred Polci and his wife Beverly of London and Rudi Polci of Dorchester. Predeceased by his brother Alec Polci and his sister Eva Olsen. Dear brother in law of Harry Olsen, Pat Polci, Robert and Elsie Anderson, Mary Margaret and John Manherz and Donald and Eunice Anderson. Predeceased by brother in laws James Maturani, Arthur Jackson and Dominic Masseo and sister in law Ruby Fleming. Caring uncle to many nieces and nephews. Dear cousin of Gary Polci and Mary Husband. Dear friend of Peter and Bonnie Leo. Cec started out as a paperboy after school with The London Free Press in 1937. In 1943 he left school to work for Canadian National Railways and retired in 1984. After retirement he again returned to the London Free Press as a carrier until 1999. Cec was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Lambeth Legion. There will be no visitation. Cremation. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated for Cec at St. John the Divine Church, 390 Baseline Road West, on Saturday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery on Monday morning at 11 o'clock.. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to London Regional Cancer Centre or Parkwood Hospital London. (John T.
