So very sorry to hear about Wyatt's passing. I first got to know Wyatt when he came to work at Coca-Cola as a young man. Over the years I would often run into him at various sporting events and he was always genuinely glad to stop and have a chat. He always had a smile and a kind word. He was just a really nice guy. Please know that my thoughts are with you.

Janet and Allie...we will all miss Wyatt's calm and easy going way of living life! His "forever" tips (even when we did know what we were doing) on the golf course, will always be remembered. Wyatt's best tip ever was to get new grips on our clubs. The tip will continue to make us better, as he not only provided the tip, but purchased and put the grips on for us. Wyatt's memory will always be with us on the golf course...just where he would want it to be!
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Read and Stinson families, as you grieve your loss and celebrate his life.
Love, Deb, Chris, Ally and Tyler Austin

Dear Edna, Wendy, Wayne, and Warren,
Know that we are thinking of you during this difficult time. I will cherish the memories of hide and seek at dusk, ice hockey in your backyard, scrub in the back field, your dad driving us hither and yon, and lazy summer days with board games. Wyatt was special in so many ways. I will cherish his friendship forever.

Dear Janet and Allie,
Words cannot express our deep sorrow for the loss of Wyatt, a dear friend to so many. This is a true testament of his goodness and kindness. Wyatt always began and ended conversations with a smile and caring words, and effortlessly made everyone feel glad to be in his presence. This photo was taken at our place as we began trying to gather from time to time and reminisce about high school days and reconnect with one another. We will always cherish the memories from childhood and beyond. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

My family and I would like to send our heartfelt condolences to Wyatt's Mother Edna and Siblings Wendy, Wayne, Warren and their families. The Barnard family and the Stinson family met each other very early in Wyatt's life, going back to 1958/59 when we moved to Laurentian Drive in the Fairmont subdivision in London. My son Tim and Wyatt were friends from a very early age on through High School. I remember Wyatt as a nice, quiet friendly young boy, my son Geoff, a few years older, remembers pitching fast balls to the neighbourhood boys including Wyatt. Wyatt and Tim played with their trucks and cars on what would become our front lawns and never would have cared if we had left the dirt roads there and skipped the grass! The Dads, Doug S. and Doug B. would chat out on the street while the kids played ball and there was lots of road hockey too. Edna and I became good friends over the years and are still in touch. I called her on Christmas day and Wyatt was there with his Mother for a Christmas visit. He became her eyes when she lost most of her vision. What a wonderful son he was.
And so, the Barnard family, myself and Kathryn, Geoff, Tim and Nancy want you to know how sorry we are for your loss, Edna, Wendy, Wayne and Warren, and Janet and Allie. You were so lucky to have such a special person in your lives as a son, brother, husband and a Dad, I hope you will find comfort in the memories you have of Wyatt.

Wyatt and I, born a few months apart, grew up on the same street together and went to the same schools for 13 years. After that our lives took different paths, and I moved far away, but he is a part of my childhood memories -- hide and seek, then boy scouts, baseball, math class -- and I will think of him often. My condolences to Wyatt's "old" family -- Mrs Stinson (Edna) and his sister and brothers Wendy, Wayne and Warren -- and to his "new" family I did not know.

Our deepest condolences go out to Wyatt’s family. Wyatt was a true hero dedicating his work life to the citizens of London with the London Fire Department. Wyatt and I first met as members at the Oaks and instantly shared a bond as we were both first responders and loved the game of golf. Wyatt was instrumental in organizing the Ryder Cup matches between London Fire and London Police which has been going strong since 2005. He will be sadly missed. On behalf of all of the men and women from the London Police Service we thank him and his family for his service to Londoners.

My deepest condolences to the Stinson family. I have very fond memories of Wyatt who was a good friend of my brothers, and our family. Wyatt would often drop by, parking his Coke truck at the end of the driveway, ring the doorbell and let himself in to join us in the kitchen for a chat or for a meal with whatever combination of Oosterhuis' happened to be home. Wyatt taught me how to properly bat on my front lawn - I was so proud to have a real ball player teach me the ropes! Praying for you during this difficult time.

I have fond memories of growing up with my Dad's 'younger' golf friends. Wyatt was one of that group and he was always so friendly and fun. He showed interest in what my sister and I were up to and listened to my Dad's stories. As the years went on and Dad wasn't on the course, Wyatt would pop the house to visit Dad every now and again. He was very thoughtful and caring. Sending my heartfelt condolences and so much love to Janet, Allie and the rest of Wyatt's family and friends. He will most certainly be missed. xo

I’ll always have tremendous memories whether golfing with Wyatt at the Oaks, in Florida or on our Georgian Bay weekends.
I will forever miss when Wyatt would be setting up for his drive and I’d be 15 feet away whispering to Smitty about something and he would stop, turn and say, “ are you finished yet!” and we would all break out laughing.
He will truly be missed .
