Obituary of Mary Brennan
Peacefully, while lovingly surrounded by her family at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Campus, on January 1st, 2021. Mary Elizabeth Brennan, in her 71st year. Pre-deceased by her parents William (Bill) Brennan (1999) and Elizabeth (Betty) Brennan (2016). Loving sister of Bill and his wife Judy of London, Susan and her husband George Krausz of Toronto, John and his wife Ellen, Stephen and his wife Carol, and Elizabeth and her husband Mike Krische all of London. Extra special Aunt to William (Sarah) Brennan, Emily (Nathan de Witt) Brennan, Andrew (Chatelle) Brennan, Ryan (Chanele) Krausz, Daniel (Mallory) Krausz, Jeremy (Laura) Krausz, Patrick (Amanda) Brennan, Sean (Cassandra) Brennan, and Erin and Katie Krische. Mary adored her great nieces and nephews including Jack, Nora, Quinn, Rose, Liam, Grace, Sophia, Connor, Jamie, Ailish and Asher. Mary was the first female to register in 1968 at Christ the King College, which is now known as King’s University College. After graduation from King’s, Mary had a long and rewarding career as a legal secretary. The family would like to thank our cousins (especially Caroline and Therese Quigley and Meg and Gerry Hawkins) along with Mary’s friends (especially Rosina and Edgar Hooper and Kathy Kinsella) for all their love and support for Mary. We cannot thank Dr. Emily Brennan enough for helping us navigate these challenging times with her compassion and expertise as well as all her support for Mary and our family. Special thanks to the staff at Parkwood Hospital, LHSC and the Alexandra Hospital Ingersoll for their care and kindness.
