Francis will be dearly missed by myself and my great-grandparents, Robert and Margaret Bowman.
Francis and his beloved family, Wreda, Bryan and Michael, were always a source of love, compassion, and warmth for my family. We had the distinct pleasure of seeing one another every Sunday at Annunciation of Our Lord Parish in Hamilton, Ontario for many years. Francis would always have a welcome word of wisdom, a humourous story, or a doting pat on the back to offer. Francis inspired me as both a devout Catholic and community member. My family and I will miss him dearly, and wish his family our sincerest condolences and prayers during this difficult time.

I had the privilege of meeting Francis virtually through an online course and zoom meetings. His stories and his sharing of his deep faith was a gift to all in the group. His presence on screen of sitting next to Wreda spoke of a love and companionship without either of them needing to say so. My thoughts are with Wreda, Michael, and Bryan, as well as my prayers.

Dr. Wrenda, Bryan and Michael,
My condolences and assurance of prayers upon the death of your husband and father. His life’s journey has been one of great service to God’s people through his gift of medicine and the love of his family.
May the good work that God began in him bring him now into the fullness of eternal life.
Like St. Paul, he fought the good fight, ran the race, kept the faith and now we pray,
shall wear the crown of righteousness.

My sincere sympathy to the Dias family during this time. I was fortunate to have met Bryan's father on several occasions at Holy Family Parish; he was a lovely, gentle man. One could immediately see how close the family are, and I know he will be deeply missed by his wife and sons. Know that God is walking with you during this time. Sincerely, Debora Clements
