Obituary of Anna Marie Van Dyk

Van Dyk, Anna Marie (nee Merschdorf) After a short battle with cancer, Anna Marie passed away peacefully at LHSC Victoria Hospital Palliative Care Unit on Thursday, December 17, 2020 in her 72nd year. Cherished wife of Henry Van Dyk for 51 years. Beloved mother of David Van Dyk (Peggy Shaw) and Mari-Ann Mark and grandmother of Jayden Nijimbere. Predeceased by parents Theresa and Michael Merschdorf. Anna Marie will be missed by her nieces, nephews, lifelong friend Nancy Muller and cousins Laura Rolls (Cliff), Mike Ludanyi (Susan) Anna Marie Olsen (the late Don), as well as extended family and friends. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Dorchester District Lion Club or a charity of your choice. A Celebration of Anna Marie’s Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to John T. Donohue Funeral Home.
