Obituary of Anna Travaglione

Travaglione, Anna At Meadowpark Nursing Home on Monday, November 23, 2020 Anna (DePierro) Travaglione in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of 67 years of the late Giovanni Travaglione (2016). Loving mother of Tina Ruberto (Nicola), Anna Mitoraj and Bruno Travaglione. Predeceased by her son Gino Travaglione (1989) and son-in-law Julian Mitoraj (2017). Loving Nonna of Pasquale Ruberto (Melissa), John Ruberto (Julie), Adam Mitoraj (late Maria), Ella Michalski (Maciek), Jonathon, and Dominic. She was the proud Bis Nonna of Alyssa, Massimo, Sophia, GianLuca, Stella, Noah, Maelle, and Maksym. Survived by her sister Rosa (Toni) Castrilli. Predeceased by her brothers Julio, Frank and Armando DePierro. Anna was born in Bagnara Province of Benevento, Italy on July 10, 1929. She married her husband Giovanni in 1949 and immigrated to Canada in 1955. The family wishes to express heartfelt thank you to the staff at Meadow Park for their care of Anna. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on, Thursday, November 26, 2020 from 4:00-4:30, 4:45-5:15, 5:30-6:00, 6:15-6:45 and 7:00-7:30. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Friday morning, November 27 at 11 o'clock. Private entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery. Due to COVID-19 restrictions as per the Bereavement Authority of Ontario a limited number of people are able to attend each session and therefore, it is required that each person RSVP their attendance.
